Dr. Gabie Ong is a Board-Certified colon and rectal surgeon. She is an expert on laparoscopy and robotic surgery for the colon and rectum and anus. Dr. Ong is an expert in treating various benign and malignant conditions of the colon, rectum, and anus such as colorectal cancer, anal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, rectal prolapse, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anorectal fistulas, fecal incontinence, and others. She is passionate about patient education and strongly believes in a patient-centered approach. She is also a strong advocate about preventive medicine such as the role of screening colonoscopies. Dr. Ong started her surgical training with an internship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed her general surgery residency at Ascension St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She underwent advanced fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Indiana University. She was trained by nationally and internationally renowned surgeons. Dr Ong is actively researching and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in reputed journals. She has also presented her research at various national and international conferences. Originally from Singapore, Dr. Ong is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. In her spare time, Dr Ong enjoys playing the piano and is classically trained. She had taught piano to many students over the years. Dr. Ong also enjoys hiking, traveling, and learning about different cultures. You may also spot her cheering on the Toronto Raptors’ especially when they are in town. Dr. Ong is a member of various surgical societies, including the Midwest Surgical Association, American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. She is also the recipient of multiple awards in research and clinical care throughout her surgical training including Intern of the Year (2015), St Vincent Surgery Research Achievement Award (2018), and Best Paper by New Member (Midwest Surgical Annual Meeting, 2020).

Dr. Sushil Pandey, MD is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon and is an expert in the surgical treatment of diseases of the lower gastrointestinal tract. Dr Pandey also specializes in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery for colon, rectal and anal problems. Dr Pandey has worked with internationally renowned pioneer in minimally invasive surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Milsom at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University, NY. After finishing his fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at nationally renowned University of Chicago Medical Center, Dr. Pandey moved to Arizona to practice in field of colon and rectal surgery. He continues to practice surgery and learn and master new cutting-edge technology in order to provide better care to his patients. Dr. Pandey believes in educating his patients. He personally, is very involved in taking care of his patients, teaching them and making sure his patients get the best treatment. Apart from surgery, Dr. Pandey has trained numerous colorectal surgeons and general surgeon nationally in area of robotic colorectal rectal surgery. Dr Pandey has presented his work nationally and internationally in various renowned conference and has been published in various renowned journal including American College of Surgeons and Disease of Colon and Rectum. Outside work, Dr Pandey enjoys taking his three amazing children to their different activities, enjoys their recitals and enjoys learning their different personalities. Dr. Pandey is a member of several surgical associations including the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
