The Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant role will be working in the Emergency Medicine specialty, located in Mercy Gilbert Medical Center - EM Gilbert, AZ.

Job Details: Envision is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Emergency Department teams at Chandler Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. This full-time nocturnist role is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment.Join a team committed to excellence in emergency care and become part of a respected organization serving the growing East Valley community!Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care during overnight shifts in the Emergency Department Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of emergent and acute conditions Perform procedures within your scope of practice (e.g., laceration repair, splinting, arthrocentesis, incision & drainage) Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Contribute to a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement 24/7 attending physician coverage on-siteQualifications: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Arizona Minimum 1 year of emergency medicine or acute care experience Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy abilitiesWhat We Offer: Competitive compensation, including night shift differentials Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), CME allowance, and malpractice coverage Supportive, team-based environment with an emphasis on professional growth Continuing education and leadership development opportunities Full-time status based on 120 hours/monthPosition Profile: 20,000 annual ED volume Cerner EMR Level III Trauma Center Dedicated trauma bay and helipad
