Dear SAZAPN/NPS Members and Followers,

This Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 2 PM SB 1473, our Arizona APRN Consensus Model Legislation, faces a make or break vote in the Senate Health Committee.  This is the most important pro-nursing legislation in years.  It removes the regulatory handcuffs keeping Advanced Practice Nurses in in our state from practicing to the full extent of their education and training!

If you can attend the Senate Health Committe Meeting in person, please arrive at the State Capital in Phoenix, Senate Room 1 at 1:30 PM wearing your clinical garb.

If you cannot attend, please sign in to Azleg.gov, designate yourself as a registered voter, and express your support to the seven Members of the Health Committee!  And get your friends, family, patients, and colleagues to do the same.  Exact instructions for how to do this are attached.

More information is available on the new website, APRNAZ.ORG.  You do not need to be an AZANA member to utilize this site.  And I have attached the actual Bill for you to review if desired.

We are continuing to collect letters of support from physicians, APRNs, organizations, and the public.

And don't forget social media!  All tweets should include the hashtag #NursesCare4AZ.

Many thanks for your support!
