SAZAPN / NPS has $1000 scholarships to award to 3 of our members who meet and follow eligibility criteria.  These scholarship funds may be used towards educational expenses, a research study, a practice - based project, a community service activity, etc.  The application deadline is midnight, Sunday, October 11th, 2020.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Active, full member of SAZAPN / NPS
• RN with current license
• Hold a Master or Doctoral degree or be enrolled in an Advanced Practice Program
• Submission of complete application
• Be willing to present project at a SAZAPN / NPS meeting or Annual Conference with a short talk or poster presentation within ONE year of completion

• The current school of enrollment and study major

Write a BRIEF essay, 250 words or less, explaining your goals as they relate to your education, career & future goals, professional / clinic needs, or your plan for a project.  Explain why you are a qualified candidate and should be considered for this award.  Include a budget or information on how the scholarship funds will be spent.

Include a current curriculum vitae or resume

Winners will be announced during Nurse Practitioner Week, November 2020
