Meet Our New SAZAPN Vice President!!!

Dear Colleagues,

We had two members express interest in filling the vacant Vice President Role.  We were in the process of setting up elections, when one of the candidates decided she needed to step down for personal reasons.  Since there were no other candidates, this valued member was selected.  

Please meet our new Southern AZ Advanced Practice Nurse Society Vice-President: 

Mary Estrada earned her DNP and FNP from the University of Arizona.  She currently practices at UA Campus Health’s Urgent Care.  She also precepts NP students and serves as clinical adjunct faculty for Grand Canyon University.  Previously, Mary was a Clinic Manager for Take Care Health. Some of Mary’s greatest professional rewards have come from advocating for nurse practitioners and serving the underserved. 

 

Mary is a wife and a mother. She was raised in rural Arizona but has lived in Tucson for nearly twenty years. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling, participating in 5K fun runs, and spending time with family.
