EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED NP (2+ years) TO JOIN THE GROWING TEAM OF ADVANCE PRACTICE PROVIDERS IN TUCSON, AZ

The University Of Arizona College of Medicine, Department Of Urology provides urological services in the clinic setting, including independent and interdependent responsibilities in assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, treating, and educating patients.

As a Nurse Practitioner, this position is involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research. This position requires working closely with Urologists and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care at the new Urology Clinic located at Banner North, 3838 N Campbell Ave, 3rd floor.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience
• Current State of Arizona RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Nursing from a State Board of Nursing approved school and satisfactory completion of an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the State Board of Nursing and with prescribing privileges through the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR and BLS
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
