Southern Arizona APN Society Board Member Vacant Positions

Dear Members,
It is with great sadness that at the end of 2024, my term as President of this wonderful organization is ending. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of this organization.
We will have two board vacancy opportunities effective January 1st, 2025: President and Treasurer.
President Responsibilities:
- The President shall convene regularly scheduled board meetings; shall preside or arrange for
other members of the Executive Board to preside at each meeting in the following order: Vice
President, Secretary, and Treasurer. - The President shall appoint committee members; perform other duties as associated with the office, including arranging sponsorship for meetings, providing agenda for meetings; provide guidance and consultation to other officers and committees; develop and form relationships with community agencies;
- Send out announcements via email and to the organization;
- Contribute to NP Celebration Week events and Community Service events.
Treasurer Responsibilities:
- The Treasurer shall make a report for each board meeting; keep record of the Organization’s budget; prepare financial reports as needed, including 501C3 and provide checks for necessary expenses.
- The Membership Chair Person shall be responsible for collecting annual dues and keeping an accurate list of paid members and their contact information.

In order to be considered, you must have been an official paid member OF THE SOUTHERN ARIZONA ADVANCED PRACTICE NURSE - NURSE PRACTITIONER SOCIETY for at least one year.
Candidates will be sent out to our members to vote via Survey Monkey. Results will be announced AT THE NOVEMBER 15TH, 2024 CONFERENCE.
